Parent Leadership Academy

The Parent Leadership Academy includes two selected parents from each participating school in the academy.

It includes:
• Elementary PLA (EPLA)
• Hispanic PLA (HPLA)
• Pre-K PLA (PKPLA)
• Middle School PLA

PLA meets six times during the school year.

   Community Partnerships
   Sept. 21, 2017 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
   This is a collaborative session with the Teacher Leadership Academy 
2. Parents as Leaders
   Oct. 19, 2017 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
3. Helping Your Child Achieve Academic Success
   Nov. 16, 2017 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m. 
4. School and Board of Education Relations
   Jan 18, 2018 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
   This is a collaborative session with the Teacher Leadership Academy 
5. Safe and Healthy Schools
   Feb. 1, 2018 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
6. Supporting Connected School Communities
   March 8, 2018 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

*All Sessions will be held at the Bryant Conference Center except for the March 8 session which will be held at the Hotel Capstone.

PTLA Graduation will be April 10, 2018.
