Teacher Leadership Academy

The Teacher Leadership Academy includes two selected teachers from each participating school in the academy.

It includes:
• Elementary TLA
• Middle School TLA

TLA meets five times during the school year.

1. Goal-Oriented School, Family, and
   Community Partnerships
   Sept. 21, 2017 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
   This is a collaborative session with the Parent Leadership Academy.
2. Teachers as Leaders
   Oct. 26, 2017 • 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
3. Collaboration and Communication
   Dec. 7, 2017 • 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
4. School and Board of Education Relations
   Jan. 18, 2018 • 5:15 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
   This is a collaborative session with the Parent Leadership Academy.
5. Supporting Safe, Healthy, & Connected Schools*
   March 8, 2018 • 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

*All Sessions will be held at the Bryant Conference Center except for the March 8 session which will be held at the Hotel Capstone.

PTLA Graduation will be April 10, 2018.
